Aracore and Dozn to explore stablecoin settlement

1h ago

BPMG, a blockchain and artificial intelligence company, said its U.S. subsidiary has signed a memorandum of understanding with South Korean fintech Dozn to study stablecoin-based cross-border payment and settlement services. The agreement is exploratory and focuses on how the two companies might link Korean financial infrastructure with global settlement rails.

Dozn is listed on the KOSDAQ market, giving the partnership a publicly traded Korean fintech counterpart. For BPMG, the MOU extends its U.S. subsidiary's reach into a market where digital asset rules and payment systems are evolving. The companies did not disclose commercial terms, timelines or specific products.

Stablecoin settlement is often pitched as a way to reduce friction in cross-border transfers by combining blockchain-based value transfer with local payment infrastructure. The proposed collaboration would examine whether that model can connect Korean financial services with international counterparties, though any rollout would depend on regulatory and technical work.

The MOU is not a definitive agreement and does not guarantee that a service will launch. BPMG said the parties will explore the opportunity, leaving scope, compliance arrangements and operating responsibilities to be determined. Further details were not provided.
