Trading Technologies Adds Bitstamp Crypto Markets for Institutions

4h ago

Trading Technologies International has widened the reach of its platform to include digital asset markets operated by Bitstamp, the crypto exchange that sits within Robinhood. The company said institutional customers will be able to trade Bitstamp's crypto markets directly through TT's existing infrastructure.

TT is a well-known supplier of trading software to capital markets firms, with a client base spanning derivatives and other listed markets. Bitstamp ranks among the longest-running crypto exchanges in operation, giving the pairing a blend of traditional market plumbing and an established digital asset presence.

The move reflects a broader push by established venues and software vendors to serve institutional investors that want crypto exposure without abandoning familiar order-entry and execution tools. Rather than standing up separate crypto desks, firms can route digital asset orders through systems their traders already know.

Neither company disclosed financial terms or a timeline for further integrations. The announcement lands as banks, brokers and asset managers keep weighing how to add digital assets to their offerings while meeting compliance and risk requirements that differ from those in conventional markets.
