Versana and Allvue link platforms for loan market data

7h ago

Versana and Allvue Systems have agreed a strategic partnership designed to tighten the links between their platforms in the broadly syndicated loan and private credit markets. The arrangement connects Versana's centralized digital data platform with Allvue's trade order management and investment accounting solutions.

The two companies present the tie-up as a way to improve interoperability and scalability across a market they value at roughly $9 trillion. Versana is an industry-backed enterprise data and digital infrastructure provider, while Allvue supplies technology to private capital markets firms.

For market participants, the intended benefit is less manual handling of loan data. Connecting order management and accounting systems to a shared data source could reduce the re-keying and reconciliation that has traditionally slowed trade processing and portfolio oversight in these markets. Firms in the asset class have often relied on spreadsheets and email to move positions between systems.

Neither company disclosed financial terms or a timeline for the integration. The announcement nonetheless fits a broader effort to modernise loan market infrastructure, where participants have long pushed for the kind of automated connectivity already common in other asset classes.
