Northteq rolls out AI agents for equipment finance origination

1h ago

Northteq is adding artificial intelligence directly into its equipment finance software, introducing a product called the aurora Agent Suite. The new offering consists of AI agents built into aurora, the company's loan origination system for equipment finance lenders, which runs natively on Salesforce rather than alongside the customer relationship platform.

Rather than bolting a separate AI tool onto an existing workflow, the agents sit inside the origination environment where applications, documents and credit decisions are already handled. That placement is meant to keep lenders working in a single system as they move a deal from application through approval.

Equipment finance remains a document-heavy, process-intensive corner of commercial lending, where small-ticket leases and larger structured transactions often move through multiple review steps. Vendors have been racing to embed automation into origination stacks as lenders look to shorten turnaround times and reduce manual handling.

Northteq did not disclose pricing, availability dates or the specific functions each agent will perform. The company's move reflects a broader push among lending software providers to position AI as a native feature of core platforms rather than a standalone add-on, as financial institutions weigh where to deploy the technology.
