Nayax closes $350M acquisition of IPS Group
Nayax Ltd. has closed its acquisition of IPS Group, Inc., a provider of payment-enabled smart parking technology, in an all-cash transaction valued at $350 million. The buyer announced completion of the deal with seller Windjammer Capital Investors.
Nayax describes itself as a global commerce enablement, payments and loyalty platform built to help merchants grow. Its shares trade on the Nasdaq and Tel Aviv exchanges under the ticker NYAX. The Israel-based group has broadened its remit beyond core card acceptance in recent years.
IPS supplies parking hardware and software that handle payments, a segment increasingly tied to digital transactions and cashless systems. The purchase gives Nayax a foothold in that market alongside its existing payments business, letting it serve operators who want ticketing and payment handled through one provider. Parking has drawn attention from payment firms as cities and private operators upgrade equipment.
The deal adds to a broader wave of consolidation in payment technology, as established processors buy specialized equipment makers to widen their product ranges. Nayax has been building out services beyond core payment acceptance, and smart parking sits close to that strategy by linking transactions to physical infrastructure.
