Brazil's Inter Pag Taps ACI for Payments Growth

ACI Worldwide, a global payments technology provider, has been selected by Inter Pag, the merchant acquiring business of Banco Inter, as a strategic partner. The collaboration is designed to support the next phase of Inter Pag's growth in Brazil's fast-evolving payments market.

Inter Pag will apply ACI's payments technology to strengthen its acquiring operations. The move comes as the company seeks to scale its offerings and compete more effectively in the Brazilian digital payments sector, where adoption of electronic transactions continues to climb.

ACI, which identifies itself as an original innovator in the field, will bring its established expertise to help Inter Pag build out its infrastructure. The partnership highlights the increasing need for modern, flexible payments systems among financial institutions seeking faster and more secure processing.

Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal adds to ACI's footprint in Latin America, a region experiencing rapid fintech expansion. Inter Pag operates as part of Banco Inter's digital banking platform, serving merchants across Brazil with acquiring services.
